About the company

A training center built on practical skills

CareerWorks Academy is a skills training center based at the UTC Building in Panthapath, Dhaka. We exist for one simple reason: to help people turn practical skills into steady work and successful small businesses.

Our courses range from driving, welding, plumbing and construction to cooking, computer operation, graphic design and web development, and from caregiving and tailoring to security, customer service and logistics. Every course is practical, hands-on and finishes with a certificate.

We believe a skill is the most sustainable thing a person can own. It cannot be taken away, it keeps earning, and it can be passed on to others. That belief shapes every class we teach.

Our experience

More than ten years of training people for work

Over a decade of running classes has taught us what works. We have trained hundreds of learners, supported many of them into jobs, and helped hundreds more begin their journey as entrepreneurs.

That experience is built into how we teach: small practical tasks first, real tools early, and honest feedback from trainers who know the trade. We keep our courses close to what employers and customers actually need, and we update them as the market changes.

Just as important, we stay in touch with our learners after training. Their results, whether a first job, a new workshop or a growing home business, tell us where to improve.

Where we began

We started with a clear idea: practical training that leads to real work. A few courses, a committed team and a classroom full of people ready to learn.

As results spoke for themselves, more learners joined and we added new courses, from trades and technology to care and service skills.

Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Officer, Kazi Faisal Mahmud leads the day-to-day direction of CareerWorks Academy. From planning new courses to making sure every class stays practical and well run, the focus is always the same: give learners skills they can use straight away.

Under this leadership the Academy has grown from a small training idea into a trusted skills center in Dhaka, with a strong record of helping people find jobs and start their own businesses.

Kazi Faisal Mahmud believes that good training should be open to everyone, and that real change starts when a person learns a skill, earns a certificate and gains the confidence to move forward.

As Chairman, Farhan Chowdhury guides the long-term vision of CareerWorks Academy and makes sure the company stays true to its purpose: turning practical skills into careers and businesses.

As Managing Director, Zubair Ahmed looks after the operations that keep CareerWorks Academy running smoothly, from trainers and workshops to schedules, certificates and student support.

The Managing Director works closely with trainers and learners to make sure each course delivers real, hands-on experience, and that every student has the guidance they need after training to find work or launch a venture.
